"Aftermath of Tomorrow": Chapter 12 - Consequences

I hate to say it, but I'm seriously losing interest in this story.  It was fun when I started, but.... aaaaaah!  I have a serious case of writer's block, and, with a new story & plot line brewing, it's so hard to focus on this one.  I'm open to suggestions here, guys.  I'd like not to abandon it, as I do have plenty of cool ideas.  It's just making the jump to those, and so on.

With all the talk and so on of a new fanfiction, I still haven't forgotten "Aftermath of Tomorrow".  This one has been and still is fun to write, and I do plan on actually finishing this one.  I haven't gotten a ton of reviews for it, but I know there are a number of you out there who are enjoying it.  Once again, thanks for reading, and as always, I do appreciate feedback.

The first full day of autumn has arrived.  I absolutely HATE this time of year, with the days getting shorter and so on, never mind the cold.  That being an entirely DIFFERENT problem.  I just hate fall and winter, 6 months of being effectively kept inside.  Of course that would mean more writing would it not?  yet, I would rather be able to go out & not have to pile on layers of gear to keep my ass warm.

Okay, my rant over, I present another chapter in "Aftermath of Tomorrow".  Thanks as always to my beta, haushinka_77, having done an excellent job for both this one and "Canadian Intervention".

Before I talk about the latest chapter... you may notice I've changed an icon.  It's a little darker than the other one, and more suits the edgier feel this story has.  I will be introducing an icon representing Travis and Caspian very soon, I've just not found source images that really fit, but do stay tuned.

Now... I've found out the new HP movie won't be coming out until next July (grrrrr!)... and here I was looking forward to a new installment in November...  Oh well... not too much we can do about it, now, eh?  At any rate, here comes chapter 9 of "Aftermath..."

I know it's been a while since I've posted a chapter here. I've been away off and on over the past month, and writing has sort-of taken a back-seat to other activities. Now that summer is quickly drawing to a close, this will gain a larger focus, and so you should expect more frequent updates.

All right. I hate it when other authors hum and haw and say 'sorry about taking so long between updates', so I'm not gonna do that here. This is by no means done for profit, and I'm not working by any deadline. I do hope readers of my works (and any other author and their works for that matter) understand that.
