Lest we forget...

Today is the 90th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice in Versailles, France.  Today, for many Canadians, it is a holiday, the day we remember those who have paid the ultimate price, standing up to tyranny.  The day we pay respect to those who have served, and were so changed by their experiences.  Those who came back missing pieces of themselves, whether it be physical, or of the mind.  Today, we remember.  Today, "I" remember, because to forget them, would be unforgivable.

To those men and women of our armed forces, I say thank you, you do something that I cannot.  You speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.  Godspeed, may you return home safe to your families.
