It is indeed the Thanksgiving holiday here in Canada.  Some think it's just an excuse for a holiday... but that's for another day.  This year has brought about many changes in my life, the biggest being the move to Oshawa in the spring.  It meant leaving the big city (although Oshawa can be busy in its own right), moving closer to my mom, and being able to slow down.

So in the spirit of this holiday, I definitely have lots to be thankful for, including having a better relationship with my mom.  I know that I am loved in this world.  I live in a country that has not known war at its doorstep in recent memory.  I live in a culture that is becoming more and more accepting of alternate lifestyles.  I could go on, but you get the point.

My work on "Chronicles" is going quite well.  I'm now working on Chapter 13 (I'm 3 chapters ahead of what's been posted at FanFiction.net).  As was explained a while back, I make sure to leave at least 3 chapters, so if I have to make changes, it wouldn't be difficult.
